"Sacalo Con Take It Easy, USA!" was the inagural project for La Sala productions, and our darling baby.

The idea behind "Sacalo" is to take the style and tropes of the classic late night talk show and distill them down to their absolute bare bones. The show is in three sections, each roughly a minute: an opening monologue, a sketch, and an interview. The sketch and the interview are both designed to highlight that week's special guest. Guests could be up and coming young actors, or established stars, what's important is that the sketch is a scene where they can speak a personal truth, and that the interview is a scene where Luis can mess with them a little bit. The idea is to focus on bringing diverse guests onto the show, providing an outlet for minority/diverse talent to do something both fun and truthful, all while keeping it to an internet friendly three-minutes-or-less.
